Congratulations to Cheryl Young

Our very own Cheryl Young, LCSW-S, was just named 2022 Social Worker of the Year by Greater Austin Social Workers (GASW). Cheryl’s journey in Social Work has been dedicated to working to improve health, well-being, and supporting people as they navigate changes in the latter stages of life, including end-of-life. Cheryl has been with Family Eldercare since 2011. She is the Clinical Director of In-Home Counseling and is one of the original therapists in that department, which currently includes 5 therapists and a mental health associate. She is also the Program Manager of Rainbow Connections ATX which was founded in May 2022. This honor, 2022 Social Worker of the Year, comes after more than 33 years of experience in the Austin area. Congratulations on your well-deserved honor!
