We provide services that promote dignity and stability for older adults and people with disabilities
Did you know? Not everyone has access to A/C during the summer. And, the heat impacts our most vulnerable neighbors the most: Older adults, individuals with disabilities or chronic medical conditions, and families with low incomes.
Fans can be lifesaving! A fan can lower the body temperature, prevent heat exhaustion or heat stroke, and cool the body long enough to be able to sleep, which is essential for health.
Fans cost pennies a day to run and are an affordable solution to vulnerable neighbors who don’t have or can’t afford them.
That’s why your donation matters. Every contribution—big or small—helps keep Central Texans safe and cool this summer.
