Financial Literacy Month

Family Eldercare strives to create stability for our clients. We offer programs such as Housing and Community Services and Financial and Housing Stability Services to help clients regain stability and a sense of well-being. Within Financial and Housing Stability Services, we have a department dedicated to Bill-Paying Services.

What does our Bill-Payer Service do?

Family Eldercare’s Bill-Payer Services is a voluntary service where individuals remain in control of their finances, but Family Eldercare provides support to facilitate bill paying. We partner with clients to facilitate bill paying, set financial goals, connect them to services, and support their independence and well-being.

What Services does Bill-Payer provide?

Bill-Payer Services assist with organizing and reviewing mail, budgeting, creating and maintaining online accounts, paying bills from a client-owned account, looking into benefits and housing advocacy, and creating individualized service plans.

Eligibility for Bill-Payer

People are eligible for Bill-Payer Services if they are: age 55 or older with any type of income and young adults receiving disability benefits. Bill-Payer Services is currently accepting referrals for clients who are eligible and living in the greater Austin area.

Service Fee

Income-based service fees will be determined on a sliding scale.

Referral Process
