Iris Gardens began construction in June, 2025 and is expected to be open and ready to receive residents in early 2027. This will be Family Eldercare’s 3rd affordable housing community and will provide 150 apartment homes for adults age 55 and older. The unit mix will include one-bed and two-bed units, serving households at or below 30%, 50%, and 60% Area Median Income.
Iris Gardens is designed to meet the growing need for safe, stable, and inclusive housing for older adults, including those exiting homelessness. It is located near a high-traffic bus route for easy access to community resources.
