Locations

Our main office is located at 1700 Rutherford Lane, which is a convenient location for many. Parking lot for employees and clients is free in our lot and on the street. Our main location is also less than a block away from public transportation. Additionally, Family Eldercare has an office in Georgetown at the Community Resource Center, and offers remote working time for eligible employees. We have safe storage for those who want to ride your bike to work, as your position allows.

Join our In-Home Care Team

We are currently recruiting compassionate, dependable care attendants in Travis and Williamson counties. Flexible schedules, full- and part-time positions available depending on the needs of our clients. Caring individuals needed to assist the elderly and people with disabilities throughout Travis, Williamson and Hays counties. Duties may include meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, laundry, changing bed linens, and companionship. Proof of insurance and valid driver’s license necessary to run errands, shop and provide transportation. Must be dependable and have reliable transportation. Bilingual a plus. Personal Assistants

Caring individuals with experience needed to assist the elderly and people with disabilities throughout Travis, Williamson and Hays counties. Duties may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hair and skin care, feeding, ambulation, and assisting. Homemaker tasks may also be required such as meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, laundry, changing bed linens and companionship. Internships

Family Eldercare is registered with UTSSW and Texas State University SSW and can provide placements and supervision for BSW and MSW students. Placements vary by semester. Additionally, Family Eldercare has placements for interns seeking a degree in: human services, fundraising/development, marketing, communications, sociology, psychology, gerontology, family systems, health sciences, recreation, activity director and related fields. The staff at Family Eldercare make a difference in the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities on a daily basis. Opportunities to join our organization are ongoing, and cover a broad range of direct service and administrative functions.
