For The Love of Aging

Judy and Tom (pictured) both experienced their share of tough times and lost hope. Judy, who suffered a debilitating stroke, has now found the will to not only live, but her calm character and gorgeous smile now bring happiness to others. Tom was a free spirit in his younger days, but the realities of jaw cancer left him with only a partial jaw and a drastic change in lifestyle. Family Eldercare helped both maintain safety in a low-income housing property, along with other services, and they now celebrate their senior years with each other.

If we give in to the notion that older adults are somehow less valuable, we all lose. As the Central Texas senior population continues to explode, it is more important than ever to invest in smart, proven programs that create a critical safety net for seniors, adults with disabilities and their caregivers.

Beyond meeting basic needs, we want to change the way our community feels about aging and older adults. For the Love of Aging, please join us and I thank you in advance for your support.
