In Travis County an estimated 7.3% of the senior population have incomes at or below the poverty level and residents with a mental disability live in poverty at almost twice the general rate. (2006 American Community Survey)

Family Eldercare responds to these needs with services designed to prevent abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation of elders and adults with disabilities.
