Who actually provides our services?

Our Care Attendants are experienced, reliable, and compassionate individuals, each receiving initial and on-going training as well as direct supervision and regular evaluations. Specialized training in serving individuals with Alzheimer's has been provided by a former trainer for the National Alzheimer's Association. We also conduct an extensive background and reference check on all of our employees before being hired. These include criminal background, the Nurse Aid and Employee misconduct registries, and former employers. Prior to their initial visit, the Care Attendant receives a thorough orientation to their clients needs to ensure that all expectations are met.

For information on our rates and how to register for services, the main office number is (512) 467-6168. Our business hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. You can also email us at ihc@familyeldercare.org.
