AMD will fund the fan drive at the $25,000 level. AMD has been a wonderful partner in this endeavor to prevent heat related illness among vulnerable and low income families, older adults, persons with disabilities and persons with serious medical conditions. Last year, Family Eldercare's Fan Drive distributed over 6,200 fans and 55 air conditioners to nearly 4,000 households in 11 counties. This accomplishment was made possible by the support of corporations like AMD, as well as the volunteerism of their employees and others in our community. We are grateful for AMD’s partnership and support.
